Wunda Chair Teacher Training
Wunda Chair Teacher Training
J. Pilates designed this chair for a friend's house, having in mind the limitations of space. It is a rather wonderful piece which justifies its name. The repertoire is extended and its efficiency unparalleled. It provides sound body work with staccato movements. Strength and balance are the highlights. It requires advanced technique.
Taught by Ellie Ioannidou
Course Overview
Wunda Chair teacher training modules are divided into 3 weekends: Wunda Chair I, II, and III. Each workshop consists of 3 parts taught over a weekend.
Wunda Chair I, II, and III
Dynamic start as the Wunda Chair is probably the most challenging piece of equipment J. Pilates designed
With little support from the equipment, beginners exercises strengthen the core almost instantly
We will explore spinal articulation with precision and deep range of movement
A challenging second weekend; there are a lot of exercises that challenge balance, strength, and flexibility
Finally the exercises bear strong links to the advanced matwork, and require excellent technique.
