J. Pilates designed the many features of the Cadillac in hospital beds. This is the most used Pilates equipment for rehabilitation. No matter what the physical ability or condition of the client is, the Cadillac is designed to give the body the support, isolation, and safety required. Clients/patients can work around an injured part of the body. Rehabilitating an injury while exercising the rest of the body.

Course Overview
Cadillac Teacher Training is a comprehensive course divided into 3 weekend seminars: Cadillac I, II, and II. Each weekend seminar consists of 2 parts. The duration of the first part is 3 hours on Saturdays, and the second part is 6 hours on Sundays.
Cadillac I, II, and III
We explore the foundation principles of teaching on the Cadillac, including correct use of the machine and safety for teachers and clients
Moving on to more complex concepts and exercises, we explore further the art of teaching on the Cadillac
Looking at the whole body, we isolate muscle groups and refine our form and technique
Requires deep strength, agility, balance, advanced technique, and complex dynamics
It is recommended for physically able teachers
Cadillac Teaching Qualification
Individuals who wish to become officially qualified as Cadillac teachers can do so through P.E.A.R.

Mat Pilates Instructor certification including anatomy.

Requirements to Complete Cadillac Teaching Qualification
Complete 3 weekends of Cadillac seminars.
45 compulsory apprentiship hours at P.E.A.R. studios in London including: supervised and own practice, supervised teaching, and observation.
Practical exam (60-90 minutes)
