Mara moved from Italy to London in 2007 to gain her BA in Dance Theatre and she has been teaching Pilates since 2011. “I believe that Pilates is truly for everyone. No matter your level of fitness, age or previous experience, exercises can be adapted to suit your needs. Through Pilates you will develop more body awareness and learn how to recognise and correct wrong habits. As a result, you’ll be able to move more efficiently and pain-free, which leads to the ultimate goal: being able to enjoy the everyday activities you love, from training for a marathon to gardening, from playing with your grandchildren to sitting at your desk working. No matter our age, we are all aging. Pilates can help us age better”. Mara is trained to teach on all Pilates machines and has dealt with different injuries. She is also trained to teach pre- and postnatal women, people with osteoporosis, the elderly, and people with chronic lower back pain.
